FLV Marine / Guidance & support
Make the whole setup fit.
A well-planned helm starts with the screen, the mount, and the connections working together.
Mounting: measure the complete assembly
Check the display enclosure dimensions, mounting pattern, bracket clearance, and total weight. Allow room for adjustment and ensure the screen does not obstruct controls or the operator’s view.
Video: match the source and display
Confirm the video connector, supported output resolution, and required cable length. A display’s panel resolution does not guarantee that your electronics can send video at that resolution.
Touch: confirm the control path
Touch input may require a separate connection and model-specific support. Ask FLV to confirm whether your intended pairing supports video only or touch control as well.
Power: use the exact model requirements
Review the manufacturer’s installation instructions for input voltage, current draw, circuit protection, and wiring. Have a qualified marine installer review the installation when needed.
